Water Billing Adjustment & Transition to Individual Billing

As a follow-up to our previous communication regarding the implementation of individual water billing through MeterTex, we would like to provide an important update on billing adjustments.

As part of the recent transition to a metered billing system managed by MeterTex, the Association has paid for each unit’s water usage over the past five (5) months. These payments were based on actual meter readings per home, and therefore constitute legitimate, unit-specific consumption charges.

To reconcile this expense, each owner will receive a prorated bill covering the past five months of usage. While this initial bill may appear higher than expected, please note that it consolidates multiple months into a single payment.

After this one-time adjustment, future water bills will be issued monthly, reflecting only the water usage for that period based solely on individual water usage for the applicable billing periodMeterTex will continue to manage the billing process and will communicate directly with homeowners regarding account setup, billing schedules, and payment options.

The Board acknowledges and appreciates the cooperation of all members during this transition and remains committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in all financial matters.
